1) Andy Rubin the creator of Android was nicknamed Android by his co-workers at Apple in 1989 due to his love for robots. When he created this operating system he named it after his nickname π.
2) The typical cell phone user touches his or her phone 2,617 times everyday.
3) You can get one gram of gold from recycling 41 mobile phones. Better to recycle e-waste instead of mining in gold mines π.
4) The Android OS was originally built for digital camera not smartphones. I find this astonishing π.
5) The first ever Google Doodle was published for celebrating the Burningπ₯πΉ Man festival.
6) In 1936, Russia built a computer that ran on water. It is called Water Integrator. It was built by Vladimir Lukyanov. It was used to solve partial differential equations.
7) Samsung Galaxy S10 is the first phone to have a cryptocurrency wallet built in and it was also cold storage wallet which means it wasn't connected to the internet.
8) Google hired a camel named "Raffia" in 2014 to create a street view of the Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi.
9) There is a refrigerator that opens when you smileπ. It's name is Happiness Counter. If has a Sony Cybershot digital camera that detects smile.
10) The old Nokia SMS ringtone "bip bip beep beep bip bip" represents the letters SMS in Morse code. That's great π
